Download or Order our book

The i media cities partners published a book that is a collection of articles on all aspects of the i media cities project. Ranging from academic articles on the films and images of certain cities, to the importance of projects like this for film archives, the linked metadata approach, business model reinvention in a digital age, and finally to the importance of innovative European funded projects for audiovisual cultural heritage films.

You can pre-order a copy of the book here (22.95 Euros, website is in Catalan or Spanish) or download an open access e-book version here

i media cities public papers

Based upon their experiences, the i media cities Consortium wrote two helpful public documents filled with tips on how to re-use films for European projects and how to deal with choosing an open source license for European projects.

You can download the public paper on re-use of films here and the public paper on open source licenses here.

Both papers are distributed under a CC-BY 3.0 licence, meaning that you can share, remix, alter, and build upon Copyright User content for any purpose, as long as you credit the author of the content.
